The Form 1040 (officially, the “U.S. Individual Income Tax Return”) is an IRS tax form used for personal federal income tax returns filed by United States residents. In 2003—for my personal holiday greeting I appropriated the Form 2040 making it into a holiday themed, adult “activity book.” I then distributed this card (which was obviously also meant to be used as a self-promotion piece for my graphic design work) to clients, friends, family and my then colleagues at Arnold Worldwide.
