As a crucial component of a longer term strategic rebranding the redesigned Shepley Bulfinch repositioned the firm from one focused on architectural services to one focused on contemporary design. The clean, minimalist approach focuses the user on the photography and content using a simply structured grid and classical proportions.

My role was to develop and oversee strategy, contribute to the design, lead the creative direction and content development, and to manage the overall process. Detailed information on the design can be found on this blog post.

The first version of the site received a Best in Class award from the Interactive Media Council. Subsequent versions added new features, search engine optimization and improved navigation all resulting in consistently increased traffic. But what has really made the site so successful is that is that the content is updated almost daily, a daunting process that is managed masterfully by Shepley Bulfinch's Terri Evans.
